Sobra - village on the Island of Mljet

Sobra is a small bay on Mljet island that is used as fishing harbour for nearby Babino Polje, as Babino Polje is not located at the sea shores.

Sobra is a main port on Island of Mljet. This is the place where all ferries from Rijeka, Zadar, Dubrovnik, Split, Hvar, Korcula and Prapratno arrives and departs - check ferry timetable

Sobra is connected with regular bus line by other places on the island.

Sobra has couple of restaurants as well as handy food shop. Mjet's harbour authorities are located in Sobra too.

Although Sobra has only about 80 permanent inhabitants, this is the place where one can easily find a room or b&b to spend few days or just overnight.
